Day 01: Arrive Cochin (By Flight)
Arrive Cochin; upon arrival you will be met by our representative, after a traditional 'Swagat' (welcome) our representative would assist you at airport & transfer to hotel for overnight stay. Whilst the room keys and check-in is organized, our representative would introduce the tour to you and hand over the documents to you.
Cochin: the queen of Arabian Sea. Cochin is known as the main spice trading
hubs since the ancient times. Here you can buy the finest tea made at the
tea processing units. The cottage industries here produce delicious
chocolates and natural honey. The mall culture is fast taking over Kerala.
No wonder Kerala is slowly turning into a shopper's paradise. Apart from
the glossy boutiques in the cities that sell the best in western and ethnic
wear, there are numerous small scale industries that deal in handicrafts,
pickles, tea, chocolates, honey, snacks, bamboo products and spices.

Day 02: Cochin
Today we will visitKochi beach, popularly known as the Fort Kochi beach
located in Kerala, South India is one of the most popularly visited beach
tour destinations in this part of South India. This serene beach holiday
spot is located at a distance of 12 kilometers from the main Kochi city in
Kerala, South India.

Day 03: Cochin - Munnar (150 Km / 03hrs)
Post breakfast we drive to Munnar. The distance of approximately 150 km is
covered in around 3 hours while enjoying the scenic beauty with marvelous
waterfalls, high mountains and low flying clouds passing through.
Munnar is one of the most popular hill stations in India, Sprawling tea
plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, trekking and holiday
facilities make Munnar a unique experience. Munnar is essentially a tea
town.

Later we head for a Day tour of Munnar, visiting the world's highest tea
estates spread like a green carpet over hundreds of kilometres, Lush green
hills all around - a place to be seen to be believed, and Eravikulam
National Park (Park is closed in the month of January and February), the
best place to see the NilgiriTahr(mountain goat).

Day 04: Munnar
Post Breakfast, we will visit the following places.
Devikulam
At a distance of 7 km from Munnar, Devikulam is an idyllic hill station with
its velvet lawns, exotic flora and fauna and the cool mountain air is a rare
experience you can feel here. The Sita Devi Lake with its mineral waters and
picturesque surroundings is a good picnic spot. The lake is also ideal for
trout fishing.

Day 05: Munnar - Periyar (160 Km/ 04 Hrs)
Today we head for one of the finest wildlife sanctuaries in India, the
Periyar Wildlife Reserve. Upon arrival at Periyar, we assist you to check
in at our hotel. Set on an attractive lakeside, it is South India's most
popular Wildlife Sanctuary.
Late afternoon at 1500 hrs we shall take you to a guided Spice and
plantation tour in one of the Spice Gardens / Plantations for which this
region is famous.

Day 06: Periyar
We have our breakfast in hotel. Post breakfast we visit the famous Periyar
wildlife sanctuaryand go for Boat Cruiseto see wild life. Periyar Lake or
reservoir created by a dam on Periyar River is the heart of the Wildlife
Sanctuary wild elephants, Asiatic Deer, Black Buck and even Tigers come to
shores of the lake for a drink. We will also go for Elephant Safari.
Elephant Safari: Duringthe ride, you can watch the wild elephants taking
bath in the water ponds. The photographers can easily take pictures of the
wilds while riding and as a souvenir of the amazing journey into the wilds,
take one with the elephant too After wildlife viewing we get back to the
hotel.
Thereafter at leisure to explore the neighboring spices market.

Day 07: Periyar - Kumarakom (130 Km / 03 Hrs)
TWe have our breakfast in hotel.
Post breakfast we will drive to Kumarakom. On arrival, check into the hotel.
Kumarakom is on man-made land reclaimed from the vast Vembanad Lake. The
name Kumarakom was derived from the deity of its oldest temple Kumaran.
Kumaran's Akam or place became Kumarakom. The place was fertile and most
suitable for cultivation of rice and coconut trees. This village was part
of Vadakkancore kingdom. But in 1750 MarthandaVarma the King of Travacore
conquered and annexed it to Travancore.

Day 08: Kumarakom - Kottayam - Kumarakom (12 Km / 24 Min.)
We have our breakfast at the hotel.
Today we will go for Kottayam sightseeing.
Vennimala - The hill of victory
Vennimala, a stone's throw away from the bustling Kottayam Town is the
serene and beautiful hill top destination, Vennimala is located nearly 15
km from the Kottayam town and can be assessed easily through the Kottayam-
Kumili road.
Vembanad Lake

Day 09: Kumarakom - Marari (45 Km / 1 Hr)
Post Breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Marari. On arrival,
check into the hotel.
Marari Beach an endless vista of sand and surf, but it is more. This beach
is having an authentic experience of the world Kerala's traditional fishing
villages, and a recreation of an ancient, harmonious way of life. Marari
originates from "Mararikulam ", one of the local fishing villages. Here
life still goes on much as it did a hundred years ago, with the men going
out to sea each day to earn a living bringing in the daily catch. The
tourists can experience the local charm and traditional Kerala Hospitality
at its best.

Post Breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Varkala. On arrival,

Varkala is a sea side resort, as well as an important Hindu centre of
pilgrimage. High cliffs with rich mineral springs rise majestically from the
coastline.Varkala is a beautiful beach that has a more than 2000 years old
shrine of Lord Vishnu. This beach of Kerala is rich in mineral water springs
that are known for their medicinal value.

Day 13: Varkala - Kollam - Varkala (40 Km / 1 Hr One Side)
Post breakfast, we drive towards to Kollam, Kollam is the fourth largest
city in Kerala and is known for cashew processing and coir manufacturing.
The city lies on the shores of Ashtamudi Lake. It is the southern gateway
to the Kerala Backwaters
Colonial Relics: The square shaped clock tower, which you can see from any
part of historic Chinnakada market, is the best place to start touring
Kollam beach India. It was built in 1944. Nearby is Roman Catholic Church
and English Church Cementry intact with 19th century tombstone of the
Britishers.
Thevally Palace: The Thevally Palace, currently used by the army is ideally
viewed from the lake. Most of it has been painted over or whitewashed that
gives the palace a rustic look.
Ashtamudi Backwater: A houseboat trip is a must in your Kollam itinerary.
DTP Kollam offers a number of rides along Asthamudi Lake and its offshoot
canals. There are also plenty of private operators at the jetty near the
bus station.
Later visit we drive back to Varkala, upon arrival check into Hotel.

Post breakfast, Day is free for leisure.
Varkala Adips in the holy waters of Varkala beach is believed to purge the
body and the soul of all the sins hence the name 'Papanashini' for this
shore. At the break of dawn following the new moon in the Malayalam month
of 'Karkidakam', thousands offer 'Vavu Bali', a ritual believed to help the
souls of ancestors rest in peace

Day 15: Varkala - Kovalam (57 Km / 1hr)
Post Breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Kovalam. On arrival,
check into the hotel.
Kovalam is an internationally renowned beach with three adjacent crescent
beaches. It has been a favourite haunt of tourists, especially Europeans,
since the 1930s. A massive rocky promontory on the beach has created a
beautiful bay of calm waters ideal for sea bathing.
The leisure options at this beach are plenty and diverse. Sunbathing,
swimming, herbal body toning massages, special cultural programmes and
catamaran cruising are some of them. The tropical sun acts so fast that one
can see the faint blush of coppery tan on the skin in a matter of minutes.
Life on the beach begins late in the day and carries on well into the
night.
